2018 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner - Phyllis Beachum, CIT

Congratulations to our 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Phyllis Beachum, CIT, from the Charlotte, NC Chapter #121. Phyllis Beachum became a NAWIC member in 1966. Although retired from her construction ranks, she continues to be active in her chapter and currently serves as chapter parliamentarian, by-laws chair and photographer! Phyllis is the only member of the South Atlantic Region who has attended all 51 of her region’s forums. She is ready and willing to travel for NAWIC and encourages others to do the same. This year will mark her 28th NAWIC Annual Conference! Her enthusiasm for NAWIC is second only to her overall zest for life itself.

 

 

2018 Member of the Year Award Winner - Anne K Pfleger

Congratulations to our 2018 Member of the Year Award winner, Anne K Pfleger, CIT, from Lima, OH Area Chapter #374. Anne K Pfleger joined NAWIC new to the construction industry and eager to learn in 2006. With enthusiasm and a desire for knowledge, Anne has since cycled through every board position and every committee during her membership. From 2012 - 2014, she served on the NAWIC Board of Directors as Director of the North Central Region. This year she’s completed her second year as National Treasurer and is currently NAWIC’s Vice President-elect. Anne’s passion and belief in NAWIC’s mission have carried her voice beyond being just a member. She leads and embraces NAWIC values by living them daily, and in doing so, elevates and challenges us all to do the same. She is an Estimating Assistant at Charles Construction Services, Inc. in Findlay, OH., and is a proud military mother of Marine-son, Lee Lauer.

 

2018 Future Leader of the Year Award Winner - Angela Troncosa

Congratulations to our 2018 Future Leader of the Year Award winner, Angela Troncosa, from Oklahoma City Chapter #383. Angela Troncosa was actively involved in NAWIC even before she became an official member of NAWIC in 2017. As a chartering member of Oklahoma City 383, and its first chapter President, Angela is credited with over one-third of her chapter’s foundation and initial roster. Angela believes in NAWIC and the strong support it gives women in the industry. She is an Estimator at JE Dunn, Oklahoma City, and the mother to son AJ.
