As we close the year, this month’s issue explores the various dimensions of giving, from how philanthropy strengthens client relationships and firm culture to how it reinforces the values at the heart of financial planning. You’ll also find timely insights on credit markets, estate attorney referrals, and strategies for building visibility and trust.
This season invites us to reflect in many ways, including on the impacts of our clients’ generosity and the generosity within our own profession. The NAPFA Foundation continues to expand access to pro bono planning and financial education, empowering advisors to give back in ways that change lives and strengthen communities with its in-house pro bono programs, scholarships, and partnerships with great organizations.
Throughout 2025, our members advanced the fiduciary standard through collaboration, learning, and service. Together, we have celebrated growth across the organization in regional engagement and member connection.
As we look to 2026, we will continue building on that momentum by deepening professional education, amplifying fiduciary leadership, and expanding opportunities to connect and contribute through the NAPFA Foundation.
Thank you for your continued commitment to your clients, your peers, and the profession. Wishing you a season of gratitude and renewal and a purposeful start to the year ahead.
Warm regards,
Spencer Bone
