Q&A with NAPFA CEO

NAPFA CEO Geof Brown was interviewed by Out & About Communications for “Driving NAPFA membership growth organically through partnerships and new member opportunities.” Brown says, “Eight years ago, NAPFA was an association of about 2,300–2,400 practitioners and students, and right now we’re pushing 4,400, which is really, really exciting to think about that trajectory and just where the association could go into the future.”

He also discusses making NAPFA “a place where people want to engage … beyond just ‘I have to do it because I’m a financial planner,’ … but really to tap into the strength and vibrancy of the community, to … associate with other professionals that are interested in elevating their competency so they can serve consumers in a more meaningful way.”
