TRB announced that it will be sunsetting its current standing technical committees in favor of a new, more cohesive structure.

“By simplifying the structure, volunteers will be free to contribute their expertise while accountability remains with staff,” its executive officers said in a letter, directing those who want to learn more to explore new functions within MyTRB as well as a webpage complete with an interactive organizational chart to explain the changes.

NAPA President & CEO Audrey Copeland and NAPA Chairman Pat Nelson write about the industry's challenges and goals in the near future for NAPA Quarterly:

"NAPA’s greatest resources include you – our members – along with our staff and our PAC. Pat issued a challenge to membership when he became 2025 NAPA Chairman: 'Raising $250k a cycle is critical if NAPA wants to be a key policy advocate organization!' Thus, a fundraising target for NAPA PAC was born."

S.T. Wooten Corp.’s Carteret County Beaufort Airport project earned the Ray Brown Airport Award, NAPA’s highest honor for airfield paving.

The reconstruction job involved the airport’s secondary runway, which the airport authority wanted to decrease from 150 feet to 75 feet wide. S.T. Wooten crews began by removing the existing asphalt runway.

Pave It Black's producer took NAPA Quarterly readers behind the scenes to reveal what goes into creating each episode:

"Each season of Pave It Black begins long before we enter the studio. In the fall of 2024, Richard Willis, Brett Williams, and I decided the focus of this season would be leadership," writes NAPA Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Kate Lancaster. "We wanted to hold authentic and inspirational conversations with leaders inside and outside the asphalt world."
