Each year, in conjunction with NWZAW, NAPA encourages its members and the public to bring awareness to work zone safety by using the Watch For Us toolkit, participating in local and national events, and wearing orange on Go Orange Day, set this year for April 17.

Services announced to remember Dave Newcomb

A memorial service will be held for former NAPA employee David Newcomb at Kerrville First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, TX at 10 a.m. CT on May 4.

Newcomb served as NAPA's vice president for engineering, research, and technology from 1999 until 2011. He was also involved in the leadership of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (AAPT), serving as president in 2012, and chairing the membership committee. Newcomb retired from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.
