Scott Mawaka Assumes Control of Fleet Response

Scott Mawaka, President and CEO of Fleet Response, has assumed control of the company, acquiring shares from other shareholders for an undisclosed amount. The expressed purpose for the buy-out was so the company could remain a privately-held, family-run business. Mawaka will also serve as Chairman.

Ron Mawaka Sr. expressed he was pleased with the results. He started the company, previously called Rental Concepts Inc., in 1986. The deal assumes shares previously held by Ron Mawaka, Jr., Myron Zadony, and Claude Nolty.
