NAFA's Alabama Chapter Elects Leaders, Tours Hyundai

NAFA's Alabama Chapter was very busy for the afternoon of February 12, first conducting chapter business at CarQuest Auto Parts in Montgomery, then moving to the Hyundai Motors Manufacturing plant.

Alabama's 2015 Chapter elections concluded unopposed, with Darren Davis as Chapter Chair, Jay Watson as Vice Chair, Sandy Leonard as Treasurer, and Jennifer Scrivano as Secretary.

Afterward, Jerry Dickey of CarQuest facilitated discussions over lunch, including topics such as the need (or industry-wide demand) for all-purpose technicians and mechanic training programs. After a tour of the CarQuest facility, chapter members headed over to the Hyundai plant for the rest of their tour.
