Deadline for NAFA FLEXY Nominations THIS FRIDAY!

 

 

NAFA's Fleet Excellence Awards (FLEXYs), an annual award program dedicated to recognizing the best and brightest in the fleet management profession, returns to the 2017 Institute & Expo (I&E) April 25, in Tampa, Florida.

The FLEXYs shine a spotlight on fleet professionals who have impacted fleet in both the corporate and public fleet segments during 2016. These awards will be reviewed by a prestigious industry panel consisting of fleet managers, fleet management company professionals, and members of the fleet industry press. Do you know someone who has made an impact on fleet in 2016? Recognize them with a nomination for a FLEXY! Categories include:

•     Outstanding Achievements in Fleet Management (Corporate & Public Fleets) This award recognizes fleet managers who have had outstanding achievements or accomplishments during the past year that either set high examples or provided ground-breaking ideas for the industry.

•     Excellence in Sustainability Accomplishments (Corporate & Public Fleets) This award recognizes fleet managers who have made significant strides during the past year in implementing sustainable/green efforts for his/her employer's fleet operations.

•     Excellence in Fleet Safety (Corporate & Public Fleets) This award recognizes fleet managers who have made significant strides in implementing safety efforts for his/her employer's fleet operations during the past year. The Award may also be presented to an organization or entity that has made significant contributions in this field.

•     Excellence in Fleet Leadership (All Fleet segments) This award recognizes one fleet manager's supervisor or upper manager who has provided outstanding leadership and direction to the fleet manager or has otherwise contributed to the fleet's success. (Please note: only upper managers with supervisory responsibilities over fleet professionals are eligible for this award.)

How to Enter: Submit nomination entries through the FLEXY submissions portal at www.nafainstitute.org. Provide thorough details and data supporting why the individual should be considered (Examples: data reflecting pre- and post-efforts benchmarks, percentage of greenhouse gas output curbed, result of efforts to reduce risk and safety concerns, etc.).    

Include the nominee's name, job title, and place of employment. This information is necessary for NAFA to inform individuals that they have been chosen as a finalist but will not be submitted to the award judges. FLEXY decision-making is "blind" and impartial.  Multiple submissions for a single nominee do not guarantee any outcome, either positive or negative. All instances of name, gender, place of work and position, and any other information that might otherwise identify an individual will be removed. FLEXY submissions depend solely on the quality of fleet-related accomplishments.
