NAFA To Offer Free Fleet Management Training At ACT Expo 2012

NAFA is proud to further its partnership with the ACT Expo by providing this year’s conference attendees with a customized fleet management training session, amidst a full slate of alternative fuel training workshops. The course, What Fleet Managers Need to Know:  The Eight Disciplines of Fleet Management, will explore NAFA programs that offer education in eight disciplines: Asset Management, Business Management, Financial Management, Information Management, Maintenance Management, Risk Management, Professional Development, and Vehicle Fuel Management. 

Have you ever wondered how other organizations address specific fleet problems, or what the industry standard is? Do you ever feel that you don’t have all the information you need to resolve a fleet issue? This ACT Expo pre-conference session will point out the excellent resources available through NAFA including opportunities to network, attendance at professional seminars, access to an online fleet library and completion of professional designations in fleet management.

The session takes place on Tuesday, May 15 from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and provides an introduction to NAFA’s wide range of educational offerings including best practices and lessons learned from leading fleet managers. Presented by retired Lieutenant-Colonel and Professional Development Strategist Katherine Vigneau, CAFM, this informative presentation takes a look at the situations fleet professionals face on a daily basis.

ACT Expo showcases a wide range of alternative fuel offerings and presents the latest in clean technologies making it a must-attend event of the year for fleet managers.
