35 years with NAFA

J. Paul Hubbard
Honorary Member and former NAFA President (1989-1991)

J. Paul Hubbard celebrates thirty-five years with NAFA in November as an Honorary Member. He served as NAFA President from 1989 to 1991. In addition to serving as President, Hubbard held the positions of First Vice President; Second Vice President; Third Vice President; and was the National Board of Delegates Chair and Vice President for Canada.

Hubbard also served as Chair of the Quebec Chapter and was an active member of the Montreal Conference Committee.

Hubbard joined NAFA on November 1, 1976 while working for Imperial Tobacco, Montreal, Canada, eventually becoming the Marketing Administrative Manager for the company. He left Imperial Tobacco in 1994.

NAFA thanks J. Paul Hubbard for thirty-five years with the Association! It is the strength of Members like him that have helped make NAFA the fleet industry's strongest association.


25 years with NAFA

Jim Anselmi

Jim Anselmi has been involved in numerous areas of fleet operations starting as an apprentice automotive mechanic with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1965 (then called The Port of New York Authority). In 1986 he became the Fleet Manager and joined NAFA. Jim retired from the Port Authority and started with Lorillard Tobacco in 1996 as the Director of Fleet and Travel.

Anselmi was the first Public Service fleet manager to be elected NAFA President in 1995. He also served a term as President of the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (AFLA). Anselmi is currently the President of the NAFA Foundation. He is a recipient of the NAFA Distinguished Service Award and Automotive Fleet Fleet Manager of the Year. He is now enjoying visiting nursing homes with his wife and therapy dog, Chance, in addition to riding his Harley as an active member of the Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders.
