NAFA would like to thank all Members and Affiliates for being a part of our family, and especially to those celebrating key membership milestones. It is our Members who help make this Association successful. Your volunteer work has helped create and successfully run various committees; provide publications; educational workshops; and annually offer our Institute and Expo. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

Celebrating 30 Years With NAFA:

I joined NAFA in 1981 as Vice President of Auto Driveaway Company. At that time a majority of our customers were corporate fleet managers.  During this period most corporate fleet managers bought their vehicles, ran the daily fleet operations, and disposed of their vehicles.  We had direct contact with the fleet managers for the pickup, storage and delivery of their excess vehicles. This was an exciting time of growth for the vehicle fleet business and the NAFA membership was a close-knit group. The national conventions were extremely important for members to visit with fellow fleet managers, vendors, and the auto manufactures sales personnel. Over the years I developed many personal friendships with NAFA members.  Since leaving Auto Driveaway in 2005, I have been a mortgage loan officer and now am a licensed insurance agent, but after 25 years of involvement in the fleet management business I still find the industry fascinating.

Mike Stevens is the Managing Partner of Corporate Fleet Services, Inc., an auto, truck, bus, leasing and management services company for 35 years.  His relationship with NAFA has been a good learning experience and he has recommended NAFA to all clients as an excellent source of fleet information.  His relationship with NAFA allowed him to see fleet service through the eyes of the fleet manager, spurring the client services plan Corporate Fleet utilizes to satisfy its clients today.
