Booth Announces Retirement from ARI Canada

Automotive Resources International (ARI), a leading global fleet solutions provider of complex car and truck fleet services, announced the retirement of Fred Booth, President of ARI Canada, effective December 31, 2010.

Mr. Booth joined ARI in 1993 as General Manager and was promoted to his current position in 1998. Under his leadership, ARI Canada grew significantly — rising from 11th in the industry to number one — and established an unparalleled reputation for delivering outstanding service.

In conjunction with Booth's retirement, ARI also announced the promotion of Roy Gaysek as President of ARI Canada, effective at the end of the year. Gaysek joined the company in 1993 as a Regional Sales Manager and most recently worked as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ARI Canada.



LeasePlan USA Promotes Strategic Consultation Expert, Tom Casey, to National Vice President, Client Relations

LeasePlan USA has announced the promotion of Tom Casey to National Vice President, Client Relations. Casey was selected for this role because of his successful portfolio management, and his disciplined and pragmatic approach that will continue to enhance the company's current premium service delivery.

In this new position, Casey will continue to be an individual contributor for his strategic account assignments as well as take on a new team manager responsibility. Casey will work with LeasePlan's client relations team in order to continue implementing strategic best practices and cost-saving initiatives for all clients. Casey will also collaborate with the team to evaluate each client's fleet to identify additional opportunities for improvement.

Casey, an industry veteran of more than 20 years, has helped deliver millions of dollars in cost savings to clients through consultative recommendations. For example, Casey worked with a 2,400-vehicle fleet, and through lifecycle cost analysis, assisted with the move to four-cylinder vehicles that delivered a $3 million annual reduction in fuel spent and significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions.


AmeriFleet Transporation announces Appointment of Steve Gibson as Vice President, Sales & Marketing

AmeriFleet Transportation recently announced the appointment of Steve Gibson as Vice President, Sales & Marketing.  AmeriFleet is the industry leader in total logistics solutions and transportation services to the fleet management and corporate fleet industry.

Gibson brings to AmeriFleet an extensive background in fleet operations.  Prior to joining AmeriFleet, he held the position of Director of Fleet Administration at ServiceMaster, overseeing management of more than 20,000 vehicles and trailers.  His responsibilities included legalization, DOT compliance, logistics, inventory and title management, remarketing and fleet operations for Terminix, TruGreen LawnCare and TruGreen LandCare.  Gibson's background also includes the position of Regional Sales Manager at Wheels, Inc. where he managed the order-to-delivery process of more than 3,000 vehicles annually.  He began his career in the fleet industry as Financial Solutions Manager with GE Capital Fleet Services.

Phil Fitzgerald Joins PHH Arval To Enhance Government Business
 
PHH Arval has announced that Phil Fitzgerald has joined the company as National Director of Governmental Sales. Fitzgerald comes to PHH Arval with 24 years of fleet management experience and a strong background servicing the government fleet industry.  PHH provides services such as fuel, accident and maintenance management, risk and safety solutions and more to municipal, state and federal fleets, encompassing all classes of vehicles, from cars to heavy trucks.
