This course is designed to emphasize the dynamics of managing a police fleet and strategies that a municipality can take to ensure the Fleet is using best management practices. In this sometime political atmosphere, the dichotomy between police department hierarchy and a centralized Fleet division can clash if not administered correctly.

The relationship between sworn and non-sworn will be juxtaposed with the needs and wants of each respective entity. This course is ideal for Fleet Managers who manage a diverse fleet which includes law enforcement.

This session, "Police Fleet Politics" will be held on Wednesday, April 20. It will teach you different financial strategies to managing a police fleet, HR initiatives that can help mange a police fleet, the liability of not having a Fleet professional manage the fleet, and show you the tools to help strengthen the police / fleet manger relationship.
