All Charged Up: Planning your EV Infrastructure

Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Room 210A

With range increasing, costs coming down, and more vehicle choices coming to the market, electric vehicles are becoming a viable offering for many fleets. But what level of infrastructure will you need to make it work for your fleet?

The session All Charged Up: Planning your EV Infrastructure will present some of the issues and solutions associated with providing the infrastructure needed to support electric vehicles. Considerations include matching charger capacity to vehicle usage, addressing remote charging needs, evaluating the need for networked chargers and alternatives for data gathering, and installation/operation to minimize capital costs and electricity charges. Having a plan for how to charge your electric vehicles can save fleets significant capital and operating expenditures.

This morning, join moderator Tom Brotherton, Regional Director, CALSTART; and speakers Joseph Cannon, Director, EV Solutions, AeroVironment Inc., Monrovia, Calif.; and David Peterson, Director, Fleet Solutions, ChargePoint, Campbell, Calif.; as they identify the factors to consider in evaluating charging infrastructure, assess a fleet operation's portfolio requirements versus available and upcoming solutions, identify the best infrastructure deployment strategy to meet fleet charging needs and budget constraints, and maintain operational efficiency.

If you are planning on going EV now or in the future, you will not want to miss this session this morning at 8:30 a.m. in room 210A.
