NAFA’s Institute & Expo has the exact individualized education you are looking for, with a slate of workshops this Friday that covers a full range of topics suited to your fleet segment needs. From the pharmaceutical industry, to the government segment, university segment, to utilities and corporate workshops, each focuses on the challenges and specificity of your fleet makeup. You expect and require information that speaks to the details of your work, and NAFA has you covered.

Moderated by members of fleet who work in these specialized segments, Friday's workshops are tailored to answer your questions about industry standards. With segment-specific knowledge and discussions, you’ll get exactly what you’re looking for from NAFA’s I&E workshops, all beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 12:00 p.m.

Government Workshop - Room 210A

This workshop will be a roundtable discussion covering critical topics government fleet managers face daily. While the discussion will start with topics gathered from a pre-conference poll, the course of the conversation will be guided by the needs and interests of attendees and audience participation.

Corporate Fleet Workshop - Room 210C

This workshop will feature an open forum to allow corporate fleet managers to speak, listen and learn about trends and current issues facing fleets of all vehicle types and sizes, both domestic and international. It will facilitate benchmarking with peers, enable discussions on best practices and provide valuable networking opportunities.

University Hot Topics Workshop: Leaders in Emergency Management, Business Continuation Planning, and Sustainability - Room 213A

Part I: Universities often deal with unique situations during disasters, such as on-campus residents, systems that must continue running, and transportation networks. It is essential for university fleet managers to develop plans and ensure operations are maintained before, during, and after these natural disasters.

Part II: Experts discuss how universities are seen as leaders in sustainability in both application and research in broader terms, yet many university fleets lag behind in sustainability due to a lack of expertise. Fleet sustainability encompasses much more than alternative fuels, so university fleet managers will learn various ways to enhance sustainability in a university fleet.

Peer-to-Peer Learning and Networking for Health Care and Pharmaceutical (Sales) Fleets* - Room 209A

Do you manage a field sales fleet? Talking about common obstacles with fleet managers from other companies can be a great way to learn and develop, which is why attendees rate this session so high year after year. It is an opportunity to ask questions and learn best practices from your peers. Have questions on general policies such as all-wheel-drive versus four-wheel drive, personal use fees, or vehicle selectors? Want to know what methods are used to hold drivers accountable for safe driving, policies, and procedures? Curious how others handle taxable benefit processing? Learn about these and much more. Attendees will receive a copy of the Annual Pharmaceutical Fleet Manager Survey.

This and more of NAFA’s informative I&E sessions can be found on our detailed agenda here.

*Please note: This pharmaceutical session is open to fleet managers only, with the target audience being pharmaceutical fleet managers. Products/services providers and Associate Members cannot attend this workshop. Thank you for your consideration.
