IFA - What's Different in the East - Russia and Poland Overviews
Monday, April 24, 2017

A case study presented by the Unilever Global Fleet team will highlight recent learnings obtained during an operation evaluation of fleet practices in both Russia and Poland. This presentation will cover historic fleet composition and processes in both countries, showing key challenges that were faced during these evaluations. Other key takeaways will be the impact of a devalued and fluctuating currency base, and how this affected OEM negotiations and vehicle selection, and resulted in cost savings.

The introduction of the standardized global policy guidelines across the entire 13,000 vehicle Unilever fleet will also be included in this presentation.

Learning objectives:
1. Challenges presented by Russian and Polish fleet markets
2. Impact of devalued and fluctuating currencies on fleet negotiation
3. Implementing global policy within subject market
