Are You Going?

Our next Just Networking will take place on Oct. 28. Stay tuned for more information and a link to register. We hope to see you there!

10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST

The CMP Study Group provides opportunities for applicants to meet others that are on the same journey to achieve their CMP designation. In this study group format, our sessions will cover in detail all CMP domains and skills by having current CMPs themselves teaching, sharing their stories and testing what you've learned.

Our sessions are designed to prepare participants with the readiness to write their exam. Anyone with a minimum of 36 months of related work experience and 25 hours of continuing education are encouraged to consider their CMP journey with us this year. If you are still working to secure your hours, our committee can help highlight eligible clock hour opportunities for you to help you be ready in time.

The study group fosters life-long professional relationships with like-minded individuals and is an experience you do not want to miss. The MPI Toronto Chapter is proud of its success rate with nearly all previous CMP Study Group participants successfully passing the CMP exam.

What can the CMP do for you in the meeting industry?

  • Recognition
  • Competitive advantage
  • Peer acceptance
  • Salary enhancement
  • Personal achievement
  • Commitment to the meeting industry

"Not only did they cover the study material, but they proved to be experts in completing your application including helpful tips to get in your eligible hours of continuing education credits. I can’t say enough about how dedicated and truly helpful this group has been."

We will be pivoting our Study Group to an online workshop, continuing to support those who would like to take your CMP exam this year. The agenda is being developed, and it will include an expert industry panel and open forum for discussion. We'll provide tips & tricks, review the "Glossary Index & Formulas" and answer all your questions.

It will be important that all attendees read the textbooks prior to the workshop so they have good familiarity of the content.

CMP Toronto Study Group fees

In addition to all the challenges the pandemic has imposed on meetings, conferences and incentive travel professionals, industry pros have had to develop strong mental fortitude to endure. It turns out that mental resilience is a muscle and a skill set that can be built up and developed over time.

In this dynamic and engaging Professional Development session, we will be learning how bounce back, persevere (and dare we say, “pivot” our mindset) and enjoy our personal journeys, no matter the circumstances.

Join us for our last PD session of the year to learn and celebrate YOUR resilience throughout 2020-2021.
