What a day it was! Those who came out to Royal Woodbine Golf Club enjoyed a wonderful day with their peers and friends. Golfers, novice to expert, enjoyed themselves over the 12-hole, custom-designed course. Yes, we once again managed to be off the course in three hours to enjoy the fabulous dinner and prize-filled banquet. You guessed it, we were done before 8 p.m. so everyone had the chance to get home and see their family or friends. A big shout-out and thank you to all of you who supported us, including our generous sponsors AV-CANADA, D.E. Systems, Le Saint Sulpice Hotel Montreal, Niagara Falls Business Events, Peller Estates, Pinpoint National Photography and STRONCO Group of Companies. Also, thanks to our media partners BizBash and Ignite. We could not do it without you. Hope to see you next year!
By the way, we took a poll at the banquet, and it was quite unanimous that moving the tournament to July may be in consideration for next year. Stay tuned!

It was a beautiful day for the shoreline cleanup event in partnership with the Toronto Region Conservation Foundation at Coronation Park. In less than two hours, we collected 20 kg of trash — mainly small bits of paper, plastic and cigarette butts. It's the small pieces that wildlife eat that stay in their system and eventually kill them.
Jasvinder Singh won the challenge of collecting the most trash. He filled two buckets.
Everyone enjoyed the activity and contributed to the activity.
Thanks to Freeman Audio Visual Canada for providing a grant to make this activity possible.

Attention all MPI Toronto Chapter members: It’s finally here! Time to download the MPI Toronto Rewards Program App! It’s free, it’s fun, and it's easy to use!
ABOUT THE MPI TORONTO REWARDS PROGRAM:
The MPI Toronto Rewards Program is a mobile app that facilitates networking and communication for our chapter members with instant access to upcoming event information and point challenges. By participating and completing challenges in the app you earn points for being engaged! The top three players to earn the most points are eligible for prizes and will be recognized at our MPI Toronto Awards Gala next March! The app (powered by industry leader EventMobi) is fully gamified, offering point challenges and a membership directory with an instant messaging feature to allow members and sponsors to engage in discussions with each other and learn more about one another. The MPI Toronto Rewards Program goal is to facilitate a fun and engaging atmosphere that supports education and networking and invigorates members by offering a point-based system that encourages engagement and the competitive spirit in our chapter.
GET STARTED! HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP:
Step 1: Go to your app store.
Step 2: Type in the search bar: eventmobi
Look for the "E" logo. Download the app and open.
Step 3: Enter code: mpirewards
The application will launch and open the app’s home page! Locate the LOGIN icon and tap. Enter the email you use for your MPI Toronto Chapter membership. Now set your password.
HOW TO PLAY AND PARTICIPATE:
Move around in the app and review the left-hand menu bar and the app home page. Check out our program sponsors! Start connecting with other members and review upcoming events. Review your profile, add a profile picture and fill out your profile information.
Watch for upcoming point challenges! We will make announcements to let you know there are point challenges to complete. Some challenges will be all year long, some will be a week long, some only a day long, so please stay alert and watch for those announcements. Participation is key to our success, so be engaged! Go to meetings, attend events and complete challenges when announced. Completing challenges gives you points, gets you on the leader board and allows you to be eligible for future prizes and recognition at our MPI Toronto Awards Gala next March!
THE PLAY FAIR RULE
The success of this program lies with you! Help each other with the challenges, but please do not share point codes. Sharing of point codes is a violation and may result in disqualification from the program. By playing fairly we all boost the competitive spirit and help promote others to become engaged and have fun!
Become a sponsor of the MPI Toronto Rewards Program and have year-round exposure to our members. Click here! On behalf of the MPI Toronto Rewards Program Committee and the MPI Toronto Chapter Board, we welcome you to the future of member-based gamification!
