April 6, 2017: Global Meetings Industry Day(GMID)

Come celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day with your friends and colleagues on Thursday, April 6. The theme is "Face-to-face, no matter the place." This is our day – a day for leaders in the meeting and events industry to come together and showcase the value that our industry brings to people, businesses, communities and the economy. Last year, MPI Toronto Chapter was just one of more than 100 Meetings Mean Business partners worldwide to host an advocacy event to celebrate our successes and bring awareness to our industry. Making a return is the Mentor Café, where up-and-coming meeting and event professionals can connect with those who are established in the industry to gain invaluable insight and foster new relationships. Last year was incredible, with the participation of 22 mentors and 26 mentees!
