Chapter Members Giving Back

I was excited when I heard that our chapter’s ECOS team was going to support the Yonge Street Mission at the November Signature Series by asking members to donate clothing. That gave me a reason to preempt spring cleaning ... I immediately went through my girls closet and gathered a VERY large bag of clothes, most of which was hardly worn and some pieces still had tags still on them! Then, because it was a cold night, I added winter coats, scarf and mitts from each of us so an entire family of four could be warm. It made me stop and think about how fortunate we are to have so much and giving it away is so easy to do. Such a small gesture means so much to those in need. I hope our chapter continues offer us unique opportunities to give back to our community.
