Mark Evans is a digital marketing, content and social media strategist who works with start-ups and fast-growing companies to create and deliver compelling stories for a variety of audiences. He is a frequent speaker, and writes a twice a week online column for the Globe & Mail about entrepreneurs and start-ups, as well as several blogs.
Mark's experience includes working for four start-ups, as well as more than 10 years as a technology reporter with the National Post, Globe & Mail and Bloomberg News. Mark is one of the founders of mesh, Canada's leading Web conference, and meshMarketing. As such, he has engaged technology partners to showcase at these events. He is also acts as the voice of mesh online as a critical member of the communications team. Mark's consulting agency, ME Consulting, offers a wide range of services, including core messaging, content, Web site development and design, corporate videos, and social media strategy and tactics. These experiences with his work within his own practice gives him a unique perspective for both those who are in the trenches communicating with their audiences about meetings and events as well as those suppliers who support the industry who are using social media technology to build a network and build a brand.
