Happy New Year, MPI Toronto!
As we embark on this journey into 2024, I extend warm wishes for a year filled with prosperity, growth, and memorable experiences. Your dedication to our chapter's mission continues to inspire us, and we are thrilled to kick off the new year with a bang!
Our first event of the year, the Just Networking event held on February 1, was a resounding success. Hosted graciously by Visit Mississauga, the event attracted 47 members eager to connect and engage. It was a testament to the strength and vibrancy of our community, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended.
Looking ahead, we have an exciting lineup of events planned for the coming months. On February 22, we're thrilled to present the next installment of The Responsible Event Series, a Professional Development event aimed at promoting sustainability and responsible practices within our industry. Following this, mark your calendars for March 7, when we'll gather for our Annual Awards Gala to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our chapter's stars.
Additionally, we are eagerly anticipating Global Meetings Industry Day on April 11. This day celebrates the resilience, strength, and impact of our local industry, and we'll join our colleagues from CanSPEP, PCMA, and SITE in honoring our collective achievements.
None of these events would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Their commitment to creating valuable learning and networking opportunities for our members is truly commendable, and we owe them a debt of gratitude.
As we look forward to the year ahead, I encourage each of you to get involved and contribute to our chapter's growth. Whether it's volunteering for a committee, attending events, or sharing your ideas, your participation is essential to our success.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. Together, let's make 2024 a year to remember!
