For the past several months, Romina Kwong of Eco-Friendly Events has been working with Scott McAllister, GDM, VEMM of Seneca College to create and develop the curriculum for a Microcredential: Foundations of Sustainability in Event Management. This course provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to determine the impact of event management options and encourages event professionals to incorporate principles of environmental justice and minimize their carbon footprint.
They’ve also been approved by C2R2, which allows for this learning opportunity to be fully funded for a pre-determined number of applicants.
