Volunteer with MPISCC!

Looking for ways to connect with your fellow MPISCC members while also developing new skills? There are numerous volunteer opportunities across every department. Whether you are looking to build your social media experience or stretch your fundraising muscles, we've got a spot for you. See below for available positions:

MARCOM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Social Media Curators- (3-5 needed)

• Seeking individuals who excel in creating and updating Instagram and Facebook stories.
• Seeking individuals who are great at creating witty and attention grabbing social media captions.
• Volunteers must have a passion for social media

Newsletter Content Creators- (multiple)

• Seeking individuals who are natural writers with industry knowledge to share. Examples include:
  • Industry Trends
  • Professional development
  • Personal and/or Professional stories with relevant and relatable information for other members

Copy Editors- (3-5 needed)

• Seeking individuals with an eye for grammatical and punctual credibility, to ensure our material is going out free of errors.
• Calling all English Majors! 

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Chairpersons for the Equality Coalition (2 needed)

• Seeking individuals with a passion for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in our industry as a whole.
• Individuals who are organized and natural leaders.
• Looking for individuals with a background in business resource group creation, and/or professional diversity and inclusion work. 

Equality Coalition task-force (multiple)

• Seeking individuals who are passionate and inspired by growing a chapter community that is diversity and representative of the community.
• Individuals who are openminded, ready to share their stories, listen to others and work together to build a stronger, more diverse community

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Event planners needed (5-6 needed)

• Seeking individuals with a event planning expertise who would like to be involved with the 2021 installation planning process. (Starting January 2021)
• Looking for a volunteer who is organized, well connected in the city and natural people-person with a knack for building relationships and making connections. 

 

MEMBERSHIP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Membership Liaisons needed (4-6 needed)

• Seeking individuals with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Volunteers with the natural ability to strike-up conversation with new members so they can help decipher proper/helpful connections within the chapter for new members
• Individuals who excel with maintain a scheduled monthly communication touch-point with a consistent group of members.
