Virtual Fun while Sheltering in Place.....

As we head into week eight of sheltering at home, many of us are settling into our new normal, though our current life circumstances are far from normal, and it often feels like years instead of months. Most of us have inumerable zoom calls a week, are balancing co-mingling a family and work life that can be very challenging. However, as with most things, there is a sweet side to spending this much time in your home. We have heard from many that the return to a more simple lifestyle has brought the addition of balance. People are cooking more, exercising, finding a new hobby, redecorating their homes, and connecting with friends and family virtually in a way that seems more prescient and special in this troubling time. In last months newsletter, we explored the myriad wellness and online classes you could partake in. This month, we wanted to explore some of the virtual tours available to you. So let's take a trip!

  MOCA  MOCA has launched Virtual MOCA, daily programming available on moca.org and across MOCA’s social media platforms.

Let's go on safari! While the Cincinnati Zoo is closed and kids are home from school, let us help make your children’s hiatus from school fun and educational. Join them for a Home Safari Facebook Live each day at 12pm noon where we will highlight one of our amazing animals and include an activity you can do from home.

  Great Wall of China 

As China's most famous attraction, the Great Wall of China is an essential stop on all China tours. Commonly considered a wonder of the world, the Great Wall boasts a history of over 2,000 years and stretches more than 3,000 miles across several provinces of northern China, making it one of the most impressive ancient structures on the planet.   Polar Bear Cubs  Welcome to the Ouwehand Zoo's tundra exhibit in Rehen, Netherlands, where two polar bear cubs play under the watchful eye of their mother, Freedom, and grandmother, Huggies. The cubs, named Akiak (Inuit for "brave") and Sura (Inuit for "new life"), were born in November 2014, and are just waiting for you to watch them frolic. 
  Disneyworld 

Disney is bringing the magic of the Mouse right to you, with everything from 360-degree street panoramas to virtual theme park rides on its YouTube channel. 

  Sistine Chapel 

The national lockdown in Italy has forced the country to a near-standstill, shuttering public events, soccer stadiums and even the Vatican.
