MPIGNY 30/30
Message from Our President

MPIGNY,

With February underway, we already kicked off an evening of discussion and collaboration with our Town Hall event last Tuesday, Feb. 5. The evening allowed our board of directors to connect with our members on all that has been taking place within our great chapter.

I am thrilled to share that our Winter Networking Event scheduled for Feb. 12 is completely sold out! A special thanks to Canada Business Events and our friends at TWA Lounge. Without them this evening would not be possible.

We are always looking to grow our volunteer group. If you’re interesting in joining a committee or want to know more about opportunies within the chapter, please reach out at info@mpigny.org.

Here’s what’s to come ...

Warmest,
Carly Roncaglio-Marotta

The Past 30...

As we are gearing up for the second half of our fiscal year, our membership was invited to join the board of directors for a Town Hall and roundtable discussion.

With the help of our friends at MEET SoHo, our board shared updates on the state of the chapter, specifically discussing past successes and the many unique opportunities coming up in the second half of the year for members to engage with our chapter. Focus was also given to our committess on developing new ways to engage our membership and the best ways to increase their ROI from being a part of our chapter.

Do you have questions about your membership? Do you want to get involved? Reach out to anyone on the board of directors for assistance!

Did you know that MPI can help you cover costs for a preferred MPI membership and help fund your MPI Academy courses (including CMM, HMCC, Experiential Event Series, Meetings Essentials, Basics Boot Camp and more)?

Yes, it’s possible. The MPI Foundation provides MPI members professional development and career opportunities through grants and scholarships. MPI Foundation scholarships are accepted on an ongoing basis. Applications received by the end of the month will receive notification by the end of the following month. Conference scholarships do not typically follow the normal application cycle but will be reviewed each month.

More information can be found here: MPI Foundation scholarships
