Hello MPIGNY! It is hard to believe that May is upon us, and with it, a slate of fantastic events to keep you connected and networking all month long! First, let’s take a moment to look back at our fantastic Global Meetings Industry Day that we co-organized with the New York Chapter of PCMA with Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as our sponsor and the New York Academy of Sciences as our venue. Kitchen Prep, 3-Hour Shift: With more than 30,000 meals delivered each week, the kitchen staff relies on volunteers to help prepare these meals for more than 3,000 clients. Tasks may include chopping onions, wrapping rolls, peeling potatoes or making meatballs. Volunteers should be able to stand for the full shift (three hours).

Everything You Wanted to Know About CSR, But Were Afraid to Ask
 
This interactive Breakfast Education Event will allow both meeting planners and suppliers to understand how what we do can impact others. This event includes a HANDS-ON CSR activity and introduction to MPIGNY’s relationship with EPCAT International, the global organization fighting against the sexual exploitation of children.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand how to get started incorporating CSR into your organization’s events.
• Find out the benefits of CSR to organizations, attendees, and recipients.
• Incorporate CSR into sales activities to build client relationship and increase production.
• Explore the latest trends in CSR Activities.
