Hello MPIGNY!

Happy spring - if this is what we call spring! But in the spirit of optimism, let us not forget that April showers bring May flowers. Right?

Our chapter has a lot going on, and we couldn’t be happier! We enjoyed a fantastic After Six Mix at Dewey’s Pub, where we openly indulged in pigs in blankets and some great networking. Coming up, we’re getting ready to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day on April 11 at the New York Academy of Sciences. Together with NYPCMA as our co-host and in partnership with SITE Northeast, we are thankful for our sponsors Las Vegas and Kalahari as we come together to celebrate our industry with a great panel of industry leaders.

We have even more events planned, including two more education events in May (one of which is the rescheduled March event). Mark your calendars. And don’t forget about this year’s MPI WEC in Indianapolis from June 2-5.

MPIGNY's regular After Six Mix event in March was another success as new and old members alike sipped and snacked on happy hour specials, compliments of Dewey's Pub. Several first-time attendees interested in joining MPIGNY received a warm welcome in this uniquely casual environment perfect for making authentic connections and a few people unknowingly walked in just looking for an after-work happy hour and walked out with new connections and knowledge of the meetings and events industry.
