The Next 30...And Beyond

This is going to be a blast! Instead of kicking it off, this year we’re going to SPiN into summer at NYC’s coolest Ping Pong Lounge ... TONIGHT. Whether you play or not, come and mix with fellow members in one of the best subterranean spaces in the city. The venue will be providing heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine & beer to satiate everyone’s appetite. Their house DJ will spin reggae rhythms and other sounds of the summer.

Attending WEC in Atlantic City? This is the spot to mix and mingle with other attendees before heading to the shore. This event will give you an exclusive chance to see who else is heading to MPI’s Annual World Education Congress. If you’re registered for WEC and attend this mixer, you’ll have a chance to win an awesome AC gift basket which will include a $150 Total Rewards Gift Certificate (good for most retail and dining at Caesar’s properties) and a $150 gift certificate for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa located in Harrah's.

The event is TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at SPiN New York (48 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010). Register today!

About the Venue:
SPiN venues offer professional Olympic ping-pong tables, VIP private ping-pong lounge space, full-service catering and bar service, on-site event sales planners or as we like to say, ping pong provocateurs to handle every detail in your event planning. We also offer access to professional ping-pong players to enhance any event experience, organize tournaments or simply for instructional lessons.

What a great evening at the Residence Inn Times Square! Thanks to Andy Smith from Experient for your very interesting (and at many times, funny!) presentation on strategic sourcing.

And a huge thanks to our hosts at the Residence Inn for their warm hospitality and continued gratitude to Happening Photos for capturing the evening with these fantastic photos.

Rooftop venues are a breath of fresh air for attendees who often spend all day in meeting rooms and conference centers. Unforgettable views, modern décor and flexible meeting spaces are sure to boost attendance and have participants buzzing about your event. With summer quickly approaching, this is the perfect opportunity for planners to take things to a whole new level. (Smart Meetings)

The meetings industry contributes billions to the economy, creates jobs and drives economic growth, yet there are many who still don’t understand the value that meetings bring to society. We recently interviewed Roger Rickard, founder of Voices in Advocacy, about what meeting professionals can do to make their voices heard and turn their passion for face-to-face events into real action.
