About the Venue

Black Barn is a new restaurant concept with four private dining rooms located on 26th Street, overlooking Madison Square Park, serving local, artisanal food in the comfort of a Modern Barn. Black Barn is the creation of Chef John Doherty, former Executive Chef of New York’s Waldorf-Astoria and Designer Mark Zeff. Continuing along with his lifelong passion for culinary "excellence," Chef Doherty has assembled a team of experts, including Chef Matteo Bergamini, to create a menu that will entertain, amaze and yet sooth the palette.

The Past 30...

A great time was had by all who attended The Palm Spring Fling at The Palm Restaurant in Tribeca. More than 50 event professionals mingled in The Palm’s spacious private dining area. Our gracious host provided tasty delights including passed hors d’oeuvres, as well as a pasta station and its signature carving station.

To learn more about The Palm, please visit the website: www.thepalm.com/Tribeca.

If you were unable to join us, please try to join us at our next MPIGNY Networking event, After Six Mix on April 27 at Black Barn. You won’t be disappointed!

On March 22, MPIGNY members and friends enjoyed the generous hospitality of Millennium Broadway coupled with an extraordinary presentation by Dee Byrnes of the Disney Institute. Together we learned about Disney's Approach to Employee Engagement.

Many thanks to Disney Destinations and Caesars Entertainment for their support of this special Education Event. And a big thank you to CC Photo & Media for taking some great photos.

We hope to see you at our next education events including our special Global Meetings Industry Day event on April 14 in partnership with NYPCMA and for a session on Sourcing and Negotiation on May 11.
