Message from Our President
Dear Members,
As we step into the vibrant month of March, I am filled with a profound sense of pride and excitement. This month holds special significance as we celebrate Women's History Month, a time to honor the extraordinary contributions and achievements of women throughout history and in our industry. In the meetings industry, women have been instrumental in shaping the landscape and driving innovation. Their leadership, creativity, and dedication have propelled us forward, shaping the way we approach events, conferences, and gatherings. This March, let us take a moment to recognize and celebrate the remarkable women who have made indelible marks on our profession. Let us amplify their voices, acknowledge their accomplishments, and express our gratitude for their invaluable contributions. As we celebrate Women's History Month, let us also recommit ourselves to fostering an environment of inclusivity, diversity, and equality within our association and the broader industry. By championing the talents and perspectives of all individuals, regardless of gender, we can create a more vibrant and dynamic community that thrives on collaboration and innovation. I encourage each of you to take this opportunity to reflect on the achievements of women in our field and to join me in celebrating their remarkable accomplishments.Together, let us honor the past, celebrate the present, and pave the way for a future where every voice is heard, and every opportunity is within reach. Thank you for your dedication to our association and for your ongoing support in championing diversity and inclusion within our industry. "No one has ever become poor by giving." I work at The Conference Board as a Sponsorship Development Executive. I sell speaking opportunities at our conferences to consultants, advisories, and solution providers who want to get in from of C-suites of Fortune 500 companies. Outside of work, I'm passionate about travelling, cooking, hiking, and planning get togethers and events with family and friends. (Shocker, I know!) Being a member of MPI for the last two years, as well as the current Director of Partnerships, has expanded my network connections by providing new exchanges and meaningful collaborations across the meetings and events industry. My involvement with MPIGNY has enriched my leadership abilities by fostering mentorship, mutual respect, and understanding across every committee and member I’ve come across. Identifying, cultivating and nurturing alliances and collaborations that drive mutual growth and value for both MPIGNY and our event partners is a key focus of the Partnerships team this year. I hope that our members see that their involvement enables them to develop long term relationships both personally and professionally that are built on trust, innovation, and shared objectives.

Whatever we accomplish belongs to our entire group, a tribute to our combined effort. - Walt Disney Hello, I'm the Senior Director of Events & Conferences for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. I joined MPI around six months ago to meet more professionals in my industry and find new partners to work with. I'd love to connect with fellow planners, discover outside of the box venues and team building resources, and connect with caterers, experience providers, and anyone who can help take my events to the next level. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family, travel (not for work), try new restaurants, read, and sit through painful NY Giants games. Pre-Con
