Message from Our President
Welcome to the 2026 Chapter Year! A new year brings new energy—and a powerful opportunity to do great things together. As we step into 2026, our focus is clear: preparing planners for the future of our industry. This is no longer business as usual, and it certainly isn’t meetings as usual. Together, we will explore new ways to design and deliver meetings—embracing innovation, immersive experiences, and inspiring venues that reflect where our industry is headed. Just as important, we will prioritize building meaningful, long-lasting partnerships that strengthen both our members and our broader meetings community. This is your chapter. Your voice, your involvement, and your ideas matter. We invite you to engage fully—join a committee, share your expertise, sharpen your skills, and help shape the path forward. What you contribute today will leave a lasting impact for the planners who follow. I am excited about you, and I am inspired by what we can accomplish together. I’ll close with words from Martin Luther King, Jr.: “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
