Dear MPI Greater New York Members,

As we step into February, we celebrate Black History Month—a time to honor the incredible contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and visionaries who have shaped our society and our industry. This month is not just about reflection—it’s about action, allyship, and amplifying diverse voices within our professional community.

Our Commitment to DEI
At MPI Greater New York, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our collaborative community. We are proud to have Sandra Serrant, our Director of DEI, leading the charge in fostering a more inclusive and equitable space for all members. Sandra’s dedication and expertise continue to shape our chapter’s efforts in ensuring that DEI is embedded in everything we do—from our programming to our partnerships.

This month, we encourage you to engage in meaningful conversations, explore Black history’s impact on our industry, and support Black-owned businesses and professionals. Through Sandra’s leadership, we will continue to provide resources, education, and opportunities that promote inclusivity within MPIGNY and the broader events community.
