My Motto: Attitudes are Contagious... so, Have a Great One

I am currently a group sales manager at The Founders Inn & Spa in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While I cover regular markets like association, nonprofit, and SMERF, I also get to have fun booking dog shows, which have become increasingly popular over the last few years. Prior to the Founders Inn, I was at the Delta Bayfront Suites, also in Virginia Beach. 

I joined MPI over six years ago while working as a planner for an international nonprofit based in New York City. I spent over 15 years with that organization and produced board meetings, conferences, and virtual events all over the country. While I was siting locations for those larger events, I attended my first WEC as a hosted buyer, drank the Kool-Aid and never looked back. I also still recall my first MPIGNY event and how everyone made me feel so welcome. I recently told Judi McLaughlin what a great job she did that night. She has recruiting in her blood...and I felt it.

Events, travel, and all things foodie are my passions and I'm so happy to not only be a member of MPIGNY but I also get to serve on the Board of Directors where I can put my passion to use on a regular basis. And we all know that although Mission brings you into an organization, it's the people that make you stay. This Board, this Chapter, and this global organization are full of talented, kind and compassionate people who go above and beyond on a daily basis making our industry better for everyone.

I look forward to continuing my journey with MPI for many years to come. And I hope to leave my mark on our chapter by helping us become the most welcoming, inclusive organization that fulfills our members needs and propels us all into a bright event-filled future.
