New Year, New Newsletter

Say hello to the “MPIGNY Buzz.” The MPIGNY Buzz is where you will find monthly updates and information on all things MPIGNY and our Meetings & Events community.

Happy New Year to all! I hope you had a great Holiday season and are back rested and ready to take on whatever 2023 throws at us!

Last month, the Board of MPIGNY was hosted by Mindy Grote and the team at Wind Creek Bethlehem for our Mid-Year Board Retreat. We met for 2.5 days to review the first six months of our tenure and to plan the following six months. It is amazing to see the dedication and commitment this Board has for our Chapter. Can’t wait for you all to experience what we have in store for you over the remainder of the year.

December also brought us some great events. First, we partnered with the Tennessee Chapter for a Virtual Education event titled “Rockstar Leadership: Owning your Personal Brand.” The lessons learned have already been put into action by many I am told. We closed out the month with a great Industry Holiday Celebration. We had 10 membership organizations included, which led to a festive party at the Manhattan Center.

The events we have held over the past six months and the events we will be holding for the remainder of this year are planned by Volunteers and a lot of them! We need YOU, our members to jump in and assist where you can. How can you help? What are your interests or skills? It doesn’t need to take a large amount of your time, it can be as little or as much as you would like to dedicate. We will work with you and your schedule. Please reach out to me or any of our Board Members if you want to or are able to get more involved with the Chapter. We would love to have you! You should have received an email from the Chapter with a survey titled “Find Your Fit.” Please complete the survey if you are interested in volunteering.

We kick off 2023 with our After 6 Mix networking event at Dave & Buster's on January 25th. No registration is required; just show up and network with your peers.
