Excitement is building in Chicago this morning as we commence ProMat 2023. At this year's ProMat, we'll have over 1,000 of the world’s leading manufacturing and supply chain solution providers under one roof, as well as hands-on demonstrations and 150 educational seminars. In one place, you can learn, network and grow professionally in so many ways. You'll get a firsthand look at the newest innovations and solutions, and meet like-minded professionals. There's so much to see and do! Check out the show floor, listen to a thought-provoking keynote session and attend on-floor seminars. Read the latest MHI Solutions magazine, with in-depth features on the latest tech trends, a section with details on ProMat, and a list of the 2023 MHI Innovation Award  submissions. 
 
To help you start your day, this newsletter will be emailed each morning, and will provide the latest news from the show floor, recaps from the previous day, and detailed information of what's in store. Make it a great show!
 
Looking to get the lay of the land at this year's ProMat? Here are some helpful resources:

 
  
Attendee registration hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Wednesday, and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday. If you pre-registered for ProMat 2023, you should have received your registration confirmation email when you registered. Bring it to a registration kiosk when you arrive at McCormick Place South. There are pre-registered badge pick up counters located on the first floor lobby near the bus drops in the South Building and the main registration area is in the North Hall Lobby near the show floor on level 3 of the North Building. If you don’t have your confirmation, you can go to ProMat registration and they can pull up your registration easily. Once you have your badge, you are ready to enjoy the show floor, educational sessions and keynotes.
 
Pro-Tip: If you are planning on attending this morning’s keynote, go to ProMat registration on level one of McCormick Place South. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, and you can pick up your badge and go straight to Room S100 and grab your seat for the keynote starting at 8:45 AM.
 
You can still register for ProMat: If you did not pre-register, no worries! You can still register at no cost to see the ProMat exhibits, show floor sessions and keynotes. Proceed to the main registration area in the North Hall Lobby near the show floor on level 3 of the North Building.

Keynotes, Sessions & Seminars


This year's ProMat keynote speakers will give you a lot to think about. From to breaking down barriers, to providing help during disasters, to learning from a lifetime in film and more, come listen to the stories of these remarkable individuals. All these events will take place in Room S100 on Level 1 of McCormick Place South.
 
March 20 Keynote Panel: Women Leading in Supply Chains
AWESOME CEO Michelle Dilley will lead a panel of AWESOME women as they share their journey through the supply chain challenges they have faced, how they continue to break down barriers and use their voice to advocate for themselves and others, and develop strong networks.

March 22 Keynote Panel: Preview of MHI 202 Annual Industry Report
Wanda Johnson of Deloitte will join MHI CEO John Paxton in presenting the report findings, joined by a panel of manufacturing and supply chain thought leaders to discuss the real-world significance of the findings.

March 22: MHI Industry Night with Nate Bargatze
MHI Industry Night at ProMat will feature the naming of the 2023 MHI Innovation Award winners as well as laughs from comedian Nate Bargatze. This event is currently sold out. Only those with tickets can attend.

Complimentary shuttle busses will run between McCormick Place and all designated ProMat 2023 show hotels every day of the show. A new busway built exclusively for convention shuttles will significantly reduce travel time at rush hour. Bus schedules will be posted at McCormick Place and in each hotel.

International attendees can take advantage of the International Center located in meeting room S401 on Level 4 of McCormick South. Translators, charging stations, conference rooms and light refreshments will be available for international visitors during show hours.
 
  

Call us biased, but we think the hottest thing happening in Chicago in March is ProMat 2023. But, of course, there is life after show hours. If you can find time for Chicago attractions while in town, we have five fun suggestions for you.

We understand that waiting in line for lunch is probably not the best use of your time at ProMat 2023. With that in mind, we are offering a ProMat Bistro option that helps you streamline lunchtime and save money.
 
When you purchase lunch tickets in advance from the ProMat Bistro, you save $3 per meal. You can purchase tickets for individual days or for the entire show (March 20-23). You also have the option to reserve small or large tables to ensure that you have a place for networking or sitting down with your team. 
 
The ProMat Bistro is located in Exhibit Hall B2, has ample seating, and a rotating menu of healthy options.
 
  
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the show. No password is required.
