If you're on the fence about whether to sign up for the fall sessions of the highly acclaimed MCA Canada/Construction Education Council Project Management Program, you'll want to act soon.

Registration closes on Sept. 16 – a week tomorrow.

We are offering our fall program online once again. Sessions will last for about three hours, two days a week for 10 weeks between September and December. The program, as usual, counts toward your Gold Seal and Blue Seal accreditations, and is being offered in conjunction with the University of Waterloo.

This annual tournament directs all funds raised to support our ability to provide the mechanical contracting industry with ongoing and innovative new educational programming. The fundraising from this tournament will be put toward a major CEC project!

Forty per cent of vehicles sold by Ford, GM and Chrysler will be electric by the end of this decade. According to Statistics Canada, the total value of building permits in Canada decreased 3.9% to $9.9 billion in July. Besides British Columbia and Newfoundland and Labrador, all provinces posted lower values. The majority of the national decline was reported in Alberta (-23.4%). Building permits fell 3.1% in the residential sector and 5.6% in the non-residential sector.
