At its 2021 mid-year meeting, the 2021/22 MCAC board of directors approved a new strategic plan for the association, including new core values, and new strategic goals.

In addition to the new strategic plan, the board of directors discussed a number of important topics and issues, including advocacy, education, and the issue of price volatility and supply chain issues for the sector.

Under the new strategic plan, key priorities are now organized under new strategic goals: Advocate, Connect, Educate, Promote and Value. Under each goal are a number of tactics and key priority areas to achieve those goals, and help guide MCA Canada staff in their operation planning.

  • Vision: A successful, sustainable mechanical contracting sector that is a leader in the Canadian construction industry.
  • Mission: Working with MCA Provincial/Zone Partners, MCA Canada creates value and resources to help member firms succeed.
  • Core values: Collaboration; Professionalism; Communication; Innovation; Leadership; Inclusive; Continuous Improvement; Non-partisan.
