With the holiday season in full swing, we are very pleased to announce that close to $8,000 has been raised for MCA Canada’s Charity of Choice, the ALS Society of Alberta. Donations are still being accepted through the ALS Society’s website as we get closer to our fundraising goal.

Also, with Christmas Eve and New Years Eve both falling on our regular scheduled delivery days, this edition of Just The Fax will be our last of 2019. On behalf of MCA Canada and our national board of directors, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all the best in 2020.

We look forward to a very exciting 2020 at MCAC, and we are excited to share all we have in store for the New Year!

The Construction Education Council is pleased to announce the latest series of dates in its always-popular Project Management Program.

Book your calendars for the week of March 5-9 and March 26-30 for this informative gold and blue seal-accredited 10-day course. The course is designed to help you:

  • improve the planning and controlling of your projects,
  • take a business view of projects and take ownership of a project from bid to final payment,
  • increase your own project “lessons learned” by learning from experiences of other
    participants,
  • be able and willing to contribute improvements to your company’s project management
    process, and
  • be better prepared to take the Gold Seal examination, if you choose.
