MCA Student Chapter Summit: Feb 26–28

If you’re an employer planning on hiring management expertise in the future, grooming top talent and meeting this industry’s best and brightest future leaders – or if you are a student looking for a bright and rewarding future within the mechanical contracting industry – you must attend the second annual MCA Student Chapter Summit, scheduled for February 26 to 28 at the University of Waterloo.

Students from McMaster University and Algonquin College will join their hosts from the University of Waterloo for sessions on "A Day in the Life of a Mechanical Contractor", "Interview Skills and Tips", "Innovations in Modular Construction", "Interface Management, An Emerging Project Management Discipline", "3D Laser Scanning" and "Location Sensing in Construction".

Afterwards, students will visit the UA 527 training facility where they will have the opportunity to work hands-on with the tools of the mechanical trade and participate in a technology symposium where they will have an opportunity to learn and to try various technology tools that are currently being developed to assist with the future of the construction industry.

CEC would like to thank MCA Ontario, MCA Kitchener-Waterloo, MCA Canada, MCA Hamilton, Shell, Aecon, UA 527 and Trimble for their sponsorship of this event. Without their support, this opportunity would not be possible.
