MCA Student Chapter Summitt - March 21, 2014

Through a partnership with an MCA, a University and the contractors, a Student Chapter can be established.  It takes great commitment from all parties involved but it is definitely a great investment into the future of the mechanical contracting profession. There are a number of MCA’s that have had success in partnering with local universities to begin their own Chapters: MCA Hamilton has partnered with McMaster University; MCA Kitchener-Waterloo with the University of Waterloo; MCA Ottawa with the University of Ottawa; and, most recently, Algonquin College and MCA Toronto with George Brown University. 

The Summit will offer a one-day educational forum where students, contractors, faculty and MCA Managers will come together to address the skills shortage by developing student interest through participation in educational sessions, networking opportunities, site visits and team competitions.
