The MCA Canada Women in Mechanical Construction initiative has signed a memorandum of understanding and joined several industry organizations as a collaborating organization with Skills Ontario’s Young Women’s Initiative. The MOU will create opportunities to share resources while promoting the activities of each respective organization, including a number of events and programming for women in the skilled trades.

“We are extremely excited to be a collaborating organization with this initiative,” said Tania Johnston, CEO of MCA Canada. “The more we can work together on issues of mutual concern, the stronger our voice can be to raise the profile of the skilled trades and the opportunities available for women in the mechanical contracting sector.”
