CEC scholarships supporting women in our industry

To support women studying in the mechanical field, CEC is pleased to announce that there are four scholarships designed specifically for this area of need. Please share these amazing opportunities with your employees, and be sure to check out our complete list of scholarship offerings.

TACO – $2,000
To provide financial support for deserving female applicants attending recognized post-secondary institutions in the field of mechanical construction, whether it be construction management, mechanical engineering, architectural engineering or a discipline related to mechanical service or plumbing contracting.

Reliance Worldwide Corporation – $2,500
To provide financial support for deserving female applicants attending recognized post-secondary institutions studying in the field of engineering, business management or computer science, all with the common goal to obtain future employment in the mechanical contracting industry whether employed by a contractor, manufacturer or a supplier.

WiMC – sponsored by Lowe Mechanical Services Ltd. – $1,000
To provide financial support for deserving female applicants who have achieved their Red Seal designations as refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, sheet metal workers, plumbers, boilermakers, steamfitter-pipefitters, millwrights, instrumentation and controls technicians, insulators, or electricians with a goal of working in the mechanical contracting trade.

WiMC – sponsored by MCA Hamilton Niagara – $1,000
To provide financial support for deserving female applicants attending recognized post-secondary institutions in the field of mechanical construction, whether it be construction management, mechanical engineering, architectural engineering or a discipline related to mechanical service or plumbing contracting.
