The award-winning campaign by New Orleans & Company, in partnership with Dentsu Creative, features a groundbreaking virtual reality component never before used by a destination marketing organization. The Mosaic award, presented by the American Advertising Federation, speaks to the diversity and inclusion that was an integral part of the campaign. Plus One tells the story of New Orleans’ unique creativity through its people. The commercial features a who's who of New Orleans personalities gathered for a special dinner inside an elegant home on St. Charles Avenue. 
 
Ruston, LA will again host the Dixie Youth Baseball (DYB) Division I & II World Series July 26-August 9, 2023. The city previously hosted the DYB World Series in July and August of 2019. “Our City and complex have grown tremendously since we last hosted and appreciates DYB bringing back this great series to the Sports Capital of the South,” says City of Ruston Mayor Ronny Walker. The DYB Series will provide an opportunity to showcase the hospitality of the Ruston community to visitors from all over the south, as well as positively impact the local economy.
 
The North American Travel Journalists Association announced that Explore the Northshore, Issue 10 (Fall/Winter 22), produced by the St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission and published by Southern Luxury Publishing, won GOLD in the 31st Annual North American Travel Journalists Awards Competition in the BEST VISITORS’ GUIDE category. This awards competition honors the best of the best in travel journalism, photography and destination marketing that cover all aspects of the travel industry.
