Cara Banasch, MBA, Named Among 2017 Smart Women in Meetings

Dear Members and Colleagues,

 

It is my honor to share that our own Cara Banasch, MBA, Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy, was named among the 2017 Smart Women in Meetings by Smart Meetings magazine. This annual award recognizes women in meetings and events for their professional contributions to the industry as well as having achieved excellence in their work and consistently going the extra mile to find solutions to the challenges they face. 

 

Cara has been an invaluable addition to our team since she joined the NOCVB in 2013 and has led the Convention Sales department to consistently reach and exceed their goals. Under Cara’s direction, this incredibly dedicated team has brought hundreds of meetings with more than one million total attendees to our city annually, making a large contribution to our record-breaking 10.45 million visitors and $7.41 million visitor spending.

 

Cara and her team continue to represent New Orleans as the ultimate business destination and I couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team.
