The "LON Installation handbook", the German language standard work on the practical use of LON technology was revised by LonMark Germany and is now available in an updated edition of the VDE Verlag (ISBN 978-3-8007-3495-5). It is available in book stores for 33 Euros and can be purchased either through the webshop of the publisher 

(www.vde-verlag.de ) or the secretary of LonMark Germany (office@lonmark.de).

LonMark Germany welcomes three new specialist companies:  Elektro GmbH, Alsdorf, J. Beckers, KDSTECHNIK eK from Dormagen and Lintas GmbH from Oberhausen were able to demonstrate the necessary qualifications and are registered in the list of LonMark specialist companies. The "LonMark Germany registered specialist" is part of the qualification concept of LonMark Germany. The requirement is that at least one employee has a systematic, company and independent product for LON qualification. After the 2013 summer holidays, the LonMark Germany certified training centers again will offer an extensive training program for LON technology. The focus is on the basic course "Automation with LON". Its successful graduates receive a certificate as a specialist or expert of LonMark Germany and the International "LonMark Certified Professional" certificate.
