This tool provides a simple to use
interface for collective groups to post comments and monitor changes to our
profile documents. While our
profiles are document based objects (Word/Spreadsheet eventually converted to
PDF’s), collaboration works well with file sharing collaboration tool that also
provides blog-like posting capabilities for posting comments.
In addition to content collaboration, the tool’s comment
(posting) ability provides an easy way to monitor who is commenting on the
profile. This provides information to establish simple audit trails for profile
adoption voting procedures.
To assist in managing profile development progress, the tool
provides ToDo list assignment with transparency for all on the project to
monitor the next steps in the development process. The tool also contains the
ability to create and schedule events on a task group or profile (Project)
calendar. ToDo’s combined with the calendar events now provide a simple method
to track and manage the profile development process.
