Technical Update

The LonMark Staff is just completing the new Task Group Status area in the Member Area of the LonMark website. It provides details of the various proposals underway (profiles, documents, data types and others), the revision history of each proposal, and the present status of those proposals; with links to download the latest proposal versions for review and discussion. This simple, one-page reference is to serve as the "go to" location for getting up-to-speed on all of the Task Group efforts, whether you are an active participant in that Task Group or a casual follower. Note that all LonMark member companies’ employees can participate in proposal development – from authoring new proposals to voting on them. To reserve the right to vote on any proposal in any Task Group, your company needs only to make a comment on the proposal during one of the 30-Day Review cycles. This simple rule ensures that only interested parties are participating in the process and that you only need to participate in things of interest to you. There is no "registering" to become a Task Group member—every Task Group is open to every company—but if you want to stay informed, you can sign-up for the email discussion lists for any or all of the Task Groups.
