TIMBER MART Names New Ontario LBM Procurement Manager

 

TIMBER MART has welcomed a new Ontario LBM procurement manager to their team, Kevin Plett. Mr. Plett will be responsible for negotiating building material programs for the group as well as assisting in the development and organization of TIMBER MART’s flyer program and national buying show.

“Kevin will be responsible for managing vendor relationships across the Ontario region and holds nearly 20 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations within the building supply industry, including extensive experience as a key buyer for multi-branch retailers,” says Randy Martin, vice-president of procurement at TIMBER MART. “I am confident that Kevin’s strong leadership background, combined with his years of purchasing experience, negotiation skills, and deep product knowledge, will make him an asset to our organization and look forward to seeing him serve our membership with excellence.”

Mr. Plett will be based out of the TIMBER MART’s office in Vaughan, Ont. and report directly to group’s vice-president of procurement, Randy Martin.
