Home Hardware Enhances Support for Canadians with Winnipeg’s First Location

Home Hardware Stores Limited is proud to announce the opening of its first Winnipeg location, Winnipeg South Home Hardware, expanding its presence in Western Canada. The store, located at 2860 Pembina Hwy, Unit 30, officially opens to the public on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The owners of Winnipeg South Home Hardware are no strangers to the Home Hardware brand, already operating two stores in Nunavut: EPLS Home Hardware Building Centre in Arviat and EPLS Home Hardware Building Centre - Rankin Inlet. Recognizing a need for expanded home improvement services in Winnipeg, Ryan St. John, Dealer-Owner, brought the Home Hardware banner to the south end of the city to better serve the community.

To celebrate this addition to Winnipeg, dignitaries including Marcus Chambers, Janice Lukes, and Jennifer Chen, were invited to an evening of traditional Inuit entertainment, complimentary appetizers and drinks, and a first look at the store’s extensive product selection. A grand opening event is planned for spring 2026, welcoming the wider community to join the celebrations.
